Ola Electric’s Roadster Series: Revolutionizing the E-Motorcycle Experience

The Roadster series is the first electric motorcycle series that Ola Electric has introduced. The Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro trims are all available. We’ll tell you about the two cheapest variants in this story.

There are three battery sizes available for the Roadster X: 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh. It is being offered at Rs. 74,999, Rs. 84,999, and Rs. 99,999 (from the Bengaluru showroom). In the meantime, the Roadster is available with three different battery configurations—3 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh—for Rs. 1,04,999, Rs. 1,19,999, and Rs. 1,39,999 (from the Bengaluru showroom).

The Roadster X and Roadster variants differ in terms of their range, in addition to their prices and battery capacity.

The highest-spec X trim has a maximum range of 200 kilometers and a top speed of 124 kilometers per hour, whereas the Roadster has a maximum range of 248 kilometers and a top speed of 126 kilometers per hour. The Roadster has a 13kW motor, while the Roadster has one that is 11kW.

The Roadster X has sports, normal, and eco riding modes on the features front. The MoveOS 5-powered 4.3-inch LCD can be used to toggle these. In addition, it features turn-by-turn Ola Maps navigation, advanced regen, cruise control, DIY Mode, TPMS alerts, OTA updates, digital key unlock, and connectivity to the Ola Electric App. The Roadster, on the other hand, comes standard, eco, Hyper, and sports. It has a 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen, smart features like proximity unlock, cruise control, party mode, and tamper alert, and AI-powered features like the Krutrim Assistant, smartwatch app, and road trip planner are all included.

The Roadster X and Roadster have monoshocks and telescopic front forks, while a single front and rear ABS disc brakes them. These are affixed to alloy wheels with road-biased tires wrapped around them.

It features 18-inch alloy wheels and a 4. 3-inch touchscreen, which might be fine for a newcomer to the world of electric motorcycles. Comparable deliveries for the Roadster X are also planned for next January 2025.

Beyond the Roadster: Here Again, Ola’s Future Plans

Besides, sharing the Roadster series, the company has also spoken about Move OS 5, the new software for electric vehicles. Some of the new features added are group navigation on Ola Maps, AI-controlled TPMS and the Krutrim AI helper for Ola scooters.
