Overview
The Okinawa Praise is an electric scooter that starts at Rs. 80,571 in India. There is only one variation and four colours available. The motor on Okinawa Praise produces 1000 W of power. Okinawa Praise features both front and rear disc brakes, as well as an electronically assisted braking system.
The Praise is Okinawa’s premium electric scooter, with features to back up its ‘premium’ moniker. The e-scooter comes in two models: Praise and PraisePro. It has an aggressively styled LED headlight unit flanked by LED DRLs and incorporated turn indicators into the steering unit. It also has a side-stand indicator, an anti-theft sensor, keyless entry, and a find-my-scooter feature. At the front, it has telescopic forks, while at the back, it has dual shock absorbers. Dual disc brakes at the front and a disc brake at the back provide braking power, which is a first in this market.
The Okinawa Praise is powered by a 72V/ 45Ah battery that comes in both VRLA and Lithium-ion options. The lithium-ion batteries only take one hour to charge, but the VRLA batteries require six to eight hours. Only a lithium-ion battery is available in the PraisePro.
Eco, Sport, and Turbo are the three different modes available on the scooter. The e-top scooter’s speed is limited to 30 to 35 kilometers per hour in Eco mode, 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in Sports mode, and 65 to 70 kilometers per hour in Turbo mode. The scooter can climb up to a 15-degree grade.
Purple with Black, Blue with Black, and Gold with Black are the three colours offered for the Okinawa Praise. Glossy Red Black and Glossy Sparkle Black are the two colour options for the more premium PraisePro.
