The increase comes just days after the business achieved a sales milestone of 13,500 units, giving it a 75 percent market share in the electric vehicle segment. The Tata Nexon EV is a top-rated vehicle in India’s electric passenger car market, with Tata reporting 10,000+ orders in October 2021 alone. In its pricing range, the Tata Nexon EV is noted for its size, comfort, and safety features at a cheaper running cost. With the recent increase in the price of electric vehicles, this could alter.

In India, the price of the Tata Nexon EV has increased.

The selling price of the Tata Nexon EV has been increased by Rs 25,000, reorganising the entire Tata Nexon EV lineup. The base model was priced at Rs 14.29 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end variant was priced at Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Nexon EV now has a starting price of Rs 14.54 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.15 lakh for the top-end variant. The EV competes with the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona, and Tata’s own Tigor EV at this pricing bracket. The following are the new prices:

The Tata Nexon EV is a 129 horsepower, 245 Nm torque electric vehicle. The EV is said to take 9.14 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour. On a single charge, the 30.2 kWh battery pack claims a range of 312km. When charged using household circuits, the battery takes roughly 8.5 hours to reach 90% charge. When used with the DC rapid charging option, the same can charge up to 80% in an hour.

It’s past time for an upgrade, especially given the recent increase in the price of electric vehicles. The battery pack, motor, and range are all expected to be upgraded.
