Oben Electric, India’s newest E2W (electric two-wheeler) company, has unveiled the ‘Rorr,’ its first electric performance motorcycle. “Rorr” is a Made-in-India product that is totally designed, developed, and built in-house by experienced EV professionals in India. Rorr not only delivers a neo-classic look to Indian motorcyclists but also practicality and a performance-oriented riding experience. Pre-bookings for the new vehicle are now available online.

With a neo-classic design for the twenty-first century and beyond, ‘Rorr’ is a fresh new take on what two-wheelers should be. It’s less about the engine and more about the engineering. The motorcycle is completely charged and ready to roll a 200 km range with a 0-60 acceleration time of just 3 seconds, a top speed of 100kmph, and a charging time of 2 hours (IDC). Consumers can choose from three colour options right now. Rorr is a sleek and futuristic-looking electric motorcycle with some of the best-in-class characteristics, including patents for key components such as the engine, battery, controller, drivetrain, and design. Predictive maintenance, Ride details, Battery status, Geo-fencing, Geo-tagging, Battery theft protection, Charging station location, and Roadside assistance are among the interactive connected vehicle features.
Its ‘Driver Alert System’ and ‘Combined Braking System’ give riders visible and audible indicators whether the vehicle is on, stationary, or in need of maintenance. Rorr will also provide a first-in-class gamification function to revolutionise the consumer’s interaction with the motorcycle and other Rorr owners.
Consumers may pre-book Rorr for just Rs.999 starting on the 18th of March. While purchasing an EV, they can also use the Niti-e-AMRIT Aayog’s portal to check their eligibility for government exemptions, financing, and insurance alternatives.
Oben Electric’s new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru’s Electronic City is set to open soon. The factory can produce 3 lakh units per year at first.

Oben Electric will use a hub-and-spoke approach for making spare parts available on time, as well as doorstep servicing for faster resolution, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
